P-1B Visa
The P-1B visa is for members of an internationally recognized entertainment group who are coming to the U.S. to perform as part of that group. The group must be recognized for a high level of achievement in the entertainment industry.

Musicians and singers in internationally recognized groups
Actors, dancers, or other performers in internationally recognized ensembles
Support personnel who are essential to the group’s performance

Eligibility Requirements
The entertainment group must be internationally recognized as outstanding for a sustained period
At least 75% of the group’s members must have had a substantial and sustained relationship with the group for at least 1 year
Recognition must be evidenced by a high level of skill and achievement significantly above that ordinarily encountered
Visa Duration:
Initial period: Up to 1 year to perform in a specific event, competition, or performance
Extensions: Increments of 1 year to continue or complete the same event or performance
